Brush the extensions thoroughly before washing to remove any tangles. Now that your hair is thicker you can divide the hair into 2 sections our wash section by section.

Be sure to use a sulfate free and paragon free shampoo. Your stylist will recommend one during your install. Begin at the scalp and massage the shampoo into a zig-zag motion (circular motions can cause matting and tangles) Part the hair and be sure to rinse out all the shampoo at the wefts.

Use a sulfate free and paragon free conditioner. Apply the conditioner from mid shafts to ends. Adding conditioner to the weft can cause sliding. Rinse.

Towel dry or air dry your hair as much as possible before using the blow dryer. To protect your extensionsbe sure to use at least one of the following; leave in conditioner, heat protectants, treatment oils applying from mid shaft to ends. Rough dry the hair with a blow dryer starting at the ends and working your way up to the scalp. Make sure the wefts are completely dry. Round brush the hair.

Use a boar bristle or wet brush daily to remove knots and tangles. Gather the hair into a pony tail and securely hold close to the scalp. Begin brushing from the ends, carefully working your way up toward the scalp. Brushing your hair will keep the hair from tangling while washing

You can use thermal tools such as curling irons and flatirons. Heat setting can be anywhere from 270-450 F as long as proper heat protectant is being used. Keep hot tools away from the point of attachment to ensure the extensions do not melt or fuse together.

Sleep with a low braid or low pony tail. Sleep on a silk/satin pillowcase to help avoid frizz/ friction. Do not go to bed with wet hair! This can cause tangling close to the scalp.
